The TOFFS is the senior section of Old Fold open to all male members over the age of 55.

We play matches against 15 other Hertfordshire clubs on a friendly but reasonably competitive basis. Most are 16 a side, a few involve teams of 12.  For most matches we meet at 8.a.m. for coffee and they involve 4 ball, better-ball matches, teeing off from 8.30 a.m. This is followed by a 2 course lunch for which smart casual attire is permitted for our home matches and many away games. Matches are arranged on a reciprocal basis so the opportunity to play on other courses for, effectively, the cost of a meal.

In terms of selection, we encourage players to appear in a similar number of home and away matches and try to ensure that players are asked to be a reserve on a fair basis.

Our fixture list is extensive and is shown above under “Fixtures.” We also run a number of internal competitions and an annual Away Day. Sign up sheets appear below and are made active on a monthly basis. To sign up, simply click on the link below, which will take you to the page for that club. You can then click on ‘Sign Up’ link to enter your details. Team selections are notified by e-mail and you are asked to tick your name on “Team Sheet”.
